Psalm 118:14 ESV “The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”

The Psalmist asserts that The Lord Gas has become his salvation. My concern is what has driven the Psalmist to confess such a statement in the world? There are two essential elements of Christian belief: acknowledging the fact that the Lord God our complete strength and affirming the Lord our mouthful of song. It is impossible to take refuge in the Lord Jesus for our complete deliverance of sins, so long as we rely on our human strength and man-made contentment or self-sufficiency.

Micah 6:8 ESV “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

D

Our Lord God expects us humans to fulfill three essential things in life. First, we should do justice to our life that is to repent of our sins and to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. Without the Lord’s salvation, there’s no hope for our life. Second, we should be after godly love and affection. Let our kindness should be known to our fellow believers and non-believing neighbourhood. Third, we must just humble ourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ and learn the Word of God. The virtue of humility cannot be taught but caught only when we walk in accordance with the gospel of Christ. Humility is determined by the application of the Word of God in our everydayness.
