There is hope only when we make right with God, for we become righteous through the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Nobody can become right with God, unless he or she believes in the name of Jesus Christ and accepts Him as their personal Saviour.
Our Lord’s attributes are beyond our imagination. He sustains the entire universe and nothing is hidden to His eyeview. The entire earth is filled with His glory and faithfulness. He is the creator of this world. Can you find a better person for nurturing our surroundings with utmost care and concern than our Lord Jesus Christ? You can never find one such, because He founded the earth in its position.
The most critical aspect of our life is loving our siblings and accepting them as they are. It is indeed a Herculean task, but we encourage ourselves and show our love and affection for them unconditionally. In the same way, we are called to love one another in the local church. This act should be unconditional so that we can glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
Righteousness and justice is the outcome of obedience to God’s Word. No man is righteous and just by nature in the world. For all of us have sinned and lost our life connection with the Lord Jesus Christ.
The term ‘wisdom’ refers to the application of the Word of God in our day-to-day life. Understanding is the required amount of knowledge and sense of regeneration to realise the gospel of truth so that we lead GOD’S SIN-REPENTED-FORGIVEN-SAVED life amongst believers and unbelievers of the gospel of Christ.
The Lord Jesus teaches his disciples to ask the Father to give them that day their daily bread. Isn’t about their daily need? What is their daily need? They are with the Saviour of the world and they request Him to teach themhow to pray. Jesus in turn directs them to look at the Father God in prayer.
Agur, son of Jakeh as a true seeker of the Lord prays saying, “Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, …” (Proverbs 30:8 ESV). It is evident that we need to find our strong sufficiency in God. Nothing should influence us in the world and nothing should make us feel either overwhelmed or over fed. Overwhelming leads to deny our faithfulness to Christ in times of trouble and too much of possession makes us feel certain about our worldly desires that cripple our God given consciousness. And the ultimate goal of Satan is to separate us from the presence of God forever. So our Lord Jesus Christ clearly guides us to ask the Father about our today’s need for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength. He encourages us to live this day with Him to the fullest.
If we believe in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we will do three essential things: we will acknowledge Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour who is mighty to rescue us from the present reality and faithful to cleanse all our sins; we will run to the Lord Jesus for any assistance:emotional, social, economic, spiritual, cultural, personal, and political; we will make it clear to our reasoning that Jesus has the power to heal any disease. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only hope for salvation, help, and for healing.
How should I guard my heart against all sorts of materialistic thoughts and desires? What happens when I don’t measure myself upto sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ? When my life is filled with abundant things things of the world, what does it happen in my spiritual journey to the gospel of truth?
